Star Wars birthday!

My baby turned 5 today and he's very much into what he calls "mixed up matching". He likes to wear mis-matched pjs, play with odd toy combinations and bizarre food pairings. So when it came to plan his birthday party, it felt like the thing to do this year. Normally I perfectly coordinate all the kids' parties to be complete in every detail to their theme, but this year that meant NOT coordinating! Oh be still my beating OCD heart! You CAN do this!
We had a great day going to see Cars 2, building his new Lego, playing street hockey, and eating hotdogs with watermelon and an R2D2 Star Wars themed cake. It really summed up who Myles is at this moment in time, and it was perfect.

Is it cold in here?

I find this type of cake to be a little break from the every day. Trying to decide what accessories to dress a "naked" cake in, trying to mix perfect colours and skin tones, along with the client's obvious embarrassment or excitement and excuses for ordering "a booby cake", all make for a humorous experience.
I didn't post these on facebook as I didn't want to accidentally offend anyone. If you DO want to see the photos, they're posted below :)

I think it's time for someone to get a proper bra fitting...
